Help & FAQ

We do sell only genuine new products. No second hand items available. All stencils are made using laser cutters that may leave a few brownish marks around the cut-outs. Those are smoke marks, not residues of paint. The solid colour panted wallpapers may contain very tiny colour inhomogeneities that would normally not appear.

Know how:

Wall art stencils larger than 140cm x 100cm are made of 2,3 or 4 pieces depending on size and design.

Decorative Wall Art Stencil:

  • Gently remove your stencil from a postal package and if necessary leave it on a flat surface allowing some time for sheet to come back to its original shape.

  • Use a spirit level to draw a few horizontal or vertical markings.

  • When using Repositionable Adhesive spray a fine film to the back of stencil from distance of 20 - 30cm or
when using masking tape cut a few short strips and attach them to the top of stencil.

  • Line up the top and sides of the stencil with the markings you did previously and then:
when using Repositionable Adhesive gently stick the sheet from top to bottom    with special care towards small elements that could be overlooked.
when using masking tape stick the sheet to the surface and tape it all around. If there are loose pieces of stencil hanging down use the tape to secure them to the surface.

  • Dip a sponge or piece of cloth in paint. Use paper towel to remove the excess of paint to prevent bleeding.
Work the sponge over the stencil gently pushing the paint into the cut out shapes.

  • When it's all done allow a few minutes for the paint to partly set and gently remove the stencil.

  • Use a small paint brush to fill gaps caused by bridges.

  • When finished just use water and soap or mineral spirit to clean up the stencil and re-use it again and again.

For the best results take your time while securing your stencil and paint carefully. Try to use more colours and create your very own design. You can replace and wash the stencil as many times as you like. Stencilling can be fun for every one! Why not ask children to give you a hand whilst decorating their bedroom walls. The different results can be achieved by using different paint application methods. Thick paint in thick coat will give some texture. Using the spray paint or applying thin paint in one or more stages will give smooth finish. Remember, not to apply to much paint at once - when thin paint starts bleeding it can get under the mask and damage the picture. When using the spray, keep the distance of about 25-30cm to apply paint evenly. You may also need some extra mask to cover area around the picture.

  • Peel off the application foil from the paper by applying stable pressure to it and not bending it to much, maintain rolling movement.

In such case you must roll back as much as necessary to cover that element and using fingers apply the pressure and rub it.

This will prevent the design from being deformed too.
Self Adhesive Vinyl Wall Sticker manual 17
  • When reaching the bottom part of it remove the supporting tool and curry on until the whole sticker is stuck.
Now to make sure all is done fine you can go over the whole picture again and if there are any doubts redo the required area.
Self Adhesive Vinyl Wall Sticker manual 18
  • Start pilling the application film from the wall. This time, the vinyl design must stay on the wall surface.
To do it bend the foil 180 degrees against itself and gently roll holding your fingers right at the edge of the foil.
Self Adhesive Vinyl Wall Sticker manual 19
  • If any part poorly sticks to the surface it may need to be gently pressed with a finger.
Don't worry if not everything is perfect, small details can be done later.
Self Adhesive Vinyl Wall Sticker manual 20
  • Whilst pulling the film keep fingers on small delicate elements, keep applying some pressure and pull at the same time.
Self Adhesive Vinyl Wall Sticker manual 21
  • If it does not help roll back as much as necessary and repeat the process applying different pressure and angle.
Self Adhesive Vinyl Wall Sticker manual 22
  • When getting to end of it do not speed up, maintain the speed and pressure.
Self Adhesive Vinyl Wall Sticker manual 23
  • When the whole application film has been removed slide fingers gently over the whole image
